On a warm and festive evening, the Greater New Haven Regional Chapter of CTAEYC

(Connecticut Association for the Education of Young Children)

partnered with the Connecticut Children’s Museum to host a memorable

Teacher Appreciation Night.

The event brought together early childhood educators from across

the region for a night of celebration, creativity, and connection.

Participants enjoyed traveling from room to room throughout the museum,

engaging in hands-on activities and meaningful conversations. Each space sparked

curiosity and collaboration—true to the spirit of early childhood education.

From crafts and storytelling to interactive learning stations,

educators were reminded of the joy and power of play.

The evening wouldn’t have been complete without delicious food, which was plentiful

and appreciated by all. And as a sweet finale, the arrival of an ice cream truck

brought smiles and laughter—perfectly capping off a wonderful event.

We are grateful to all who attended and helped make this evening such a success.

Your passion and dedication to young children continue to inspire our work.
