Early Childhood Professional Development Platform Incentives


Over the course of the next year, with each completed step in the Platform, you will receive an incentive to keep going!

Incentive #1 is from our partners at Lakeshore Learning Materials.

Upon enrollment into the Platform and successful login into Kaplan Early Learning Environmental Rating Systems, you will be able to choose either an infant/toddler kit OR a family child care kit.  Each kit has specially chosen items for the identified age group and will be mailed directly to you.

Incentive #2 is from our partners at Discount School Supply.

After you have successfully completed the ERS on Kaplan Early Learning (by November 2018), identified the areas you would like to receive coaching in, and your three chosen NAFCC webinars with evaluations, you will be able to choose either an infant/toddler kit OR a family child care kit.  Each kit has specially chosen items for the identified age group and will be mailed directly to you.

Incentive #3 is from the National Association for the Education of Young Children

From late fall until June of 2019, you will have the opportunity to continue learning as an early childhood provider, through onsite coaching and mentoring.  When CTAEYC receives your identified areas of increased interest, we will coordinate with you and one of our consultants to begin hands-on, personal, one-on-one consulting.  Once the coaching is successfully completed, you will be issued a year-long membership to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).   This membership will offer you access to future professional development opportunities and membership in our state affiliate CTAEYC.
