The mission of the Greater New Haven Region Chapter of CTAEYC is to serve and act on behalf of the needs, rights, and well-being of all young children, their families and the early childhood professionals who support them. We plan and implement professional development opportunities, offer a chance to network with colleagues, and work to keep you informed of current trends and public policy issues in the early childhood field.

Bethesda Lutheran Church (Campanius Room on lower level), New Haven, CT
Limited parking is available in the front parking lot at 450 Whitney Avenue where the Campanius Room is at ground level. You may also park in the back along St. Ronan Street and enter through Bethesda Nursery School at 305 St. Ronan St (stairs required).
Food is not provided, but you are welcome to bring your own snack or beverage. The room can be chilly. Dress accordingly.
This workshop is free for NAEYC members. Non-members pay $10. Students and seniors (with ID) pay $5. Pre-registration is not required. Pay at the door.
Our Public Policy:
We collaborate with the CTAEYC Public Policy Committee to monitor legislative and administrative policy developments that affect young children, their families, early childhood educators and early care professionals, on the local, state, national and international level. We strive to keep the general membership informed of policy developments mentioned above by written notices, email, telephone calls, and through membership mailings, as well as announcements at membership meetings.
We collaborate with the CTAEYC Public Policy Committee to take responsibility for developing position statements, submitting testimony at public hearings, and participating in debates and meetings pertaining to public policy issues relevant to the Greater New Haven Region Chapter of CTAEYC and consistent with our goals and ideals.
