About the Event
This academy will give participants specific information about each develop-mental stage from birth to three, and address how stages of growth impact certain behaviors and abilities. The goal of this academy is to offer a frame for educators to understand what is taking place in a young child’s brain and body during each stage of early childhood development. This knowledge and understanding can help educators provide the necessary support to enable a child to optimally benefit from each stage of growth. More specifically, by ex-ploring how each child has a unique developmental profile, expectations can be customized for optimal learning outcomes.
